'Cat Mountain' in the Tucson Mountain Range, AZ
Cat Mountain is the southern backdrop to an area of Tucson, Arizona, known as “Starr Pass”. At the southeastern edge of Tucson Mountain Park, it shoots out of the desert floor like a monument, about 3,838 feet high.
There are 360 degrees of views of the city of Tucson, its mountain ranges and beyond. What a thrill to look SW to see the mountains Babo and Kitt, looking SE to see Mt. Wrightson, glancing E to see the Rincon Mountain Range, turning N to see the Catalina Mountains, viewing NW to see the Tortolita Mountain Range, and W into more of the Tucson Mountains.
Cat Mountain is in the Old Pueblo region enlightening the eye with many colors, especially during an evening sunset. One of the artist favorite to climb on an afternoon stroll in the winter.
"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do,
do all to the glory of God".
